Since 2013, Carolina Castile Soap has been committed to crafting authentic Castile soap from the finest ingredients. Founded by Joe McCutcheon, an entrepreneur with a background in green cleaning, our company began with one purpose: to make the highest-quality soap possible; one that offers an indulgent experience without sacrificing integrity.
Joe’s journey started in residential cleaning, where he quickly grew frustrated with the limited choices of truly natural products. Driven by a desire to provide a better alternative, he began creating his own soap formula for use in homes. What began as a practical solution soon evolved into a passion for soap making as an art and science. Joe found that soap wasn’t just about cleaning—it was about the ingredients you could make it from, the smells, the textures, the benefits, and the experience it provided. He discovered that ingredients you’d never imagine in soap—like cocoa butter and macadamia nut oil, which sound more like they belong in a cake recipe—could bring unique qualities to a soap formula usually reserved for luxury products.
